Description

Set of thirty-four architectural drawings of house for Mrs. A. R. Allan (commission #240) including four elevations, five plans, and twenty-five detail drawings. Few drawings are dated; no drawings are signed .

Drawings depict a two-story Colonial house with three dormers, a slate roof and a clapboard and brick exterior. House has living room with fireplace, dining alcove, dining room, kitchen, pantry, three car garage, five bedrooms, five baths, two maid's rooms, on dressing room.

***FRAGILE AND OVERSIZED - after commission was processed an additional 19 detail drawings were found. These drawings were separated from the samller drawings and found mixed with other, later commissions. Some of these drawings are extremely large and frgaile.
