Description

Set of ten architectural drawings of house for P. A. McDonnell in Lexington, Massachusetts (commission #408) including four elevations, three plans, and three heating plans. One heating plan is signed "T E N;" no drawings are dated.

Drawings depict a two-story Georgian Revival-style house with a slate hip roof and a brick and shingle exterior. Garage wing has a saltbox roofline. House has living room with fireplace, study, dining room with fireplace, kitchen, covered porch, lavatory, maid's room and bathroom, three bedrooms (one with fireplace), two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage.
