Description

Set of twenty-four architectural drawings of house for Ray W. Greene in West Barrington, Rhode Island (commission #558) including three elevations, four plans, three framing plans, two plot plans, and twelve details. Three drawings are dated. Plot plan is by Associated Civil Engineers (Melrose, Massachusetts). Some drawings indicated taht Philip Franklin Eddy Inc. of Providence, Rhode Island is an associated architect.

Drawings depict a two-story Colonial Revival-style house with a one-story saltbox garage, a wood shingle roof, and a whitewashed brick and clapboard exterior. House has a living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, pantry, maid's room and bathroom, lavatory, covered porch, three bedrooms (one with fireplace), dressing room, two bathrooms, and an attached one-car garage. A playroom is on the basement level and an additional bedroom is in the attic.
