Description

Set of sixteen architectural drawings of house for Dr. and Mrs. Daniel J. Bell (commission #1676) including four elevations, four plans, three details, three topographical plans, one rendering by Royal Barry Wills, and one initial sketch . Some drawings are signed by Merton Stuart Barrows; some drawings are dated.

Drawings depict a two-story Cape Cod-style house with a cedar shingle roof and a whitewshed brick, shingle, clapborad, and flush board exterior. First floor of house has a living room with fireplace, study, kitchen, dining room, eating area, bedroom, dressing room, two bathrooms, two-car garage. Second floor has three bedrooms and a bathroom.
