Description

Set of nineteen architectural drawings for Mr. and Mrs. Ray H. Durfee in Middletown, Rhode Island (commission #1761) including five plans, six elevations, one rendering, one cross section, and six details. Most drawings are signed and dated by John Howard and Merton Barrows.

Two-story Gambrel Cape Cod house with two front dormers, a salt box, two car garage. House has cedar shingle roof with flush board and clapboard exterior.

Basement has a playroom with a fireplace

First floor living room with fireplace, study, kitchen, eating area, and lavatory.

Second floor has three bedrooms a lavatory, and a bathroom.
