Set of eighteen drawings of house for Walter G. Butler in Worcester, Massachusetts (commission #309) including four elevations, three plans, two framing plans, and seven details. No drawings are signed or dated. Also present are a topographical map by H. L. Robinson, Engineer, and a landscape plan by Philip W. Ansell, Landscape Architect, Melrose, Massachusetts.
Drawings depict a two-story Georgian Revival-style house with a one-story saltbox garage wing, slate roof, and a clapboard, brick, and shingle exterior. House has a vestibule, living room with fireplace, study, dining room, kitchen, pantry, lavatory, covered porch, maid's room and bathroom, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. A recreation room and lavatory are on the basement level.
