Description

Set of seven architectural drawings of house for builder Chester S. Patten in Melrose, Massachusetts (commission #363) including three elevations, three plans, and one topographical map. Topographical map was made by John F. Rand, Civil Engineer (Melrose, Massachusetts). No other drawings are dated or signed.

Drawings depict a two-story Colonial Revival-style house with a slate hip roof and a clapboard exterior. House has living room with fireplace, study, dining room, kitchen, breakfast alcove, lavatory, covered porch, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. A game room is on the basement level.
