Description

Set of eleven architectural drawings of house for Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Cartwright in Guilford, Maine (commission #1691) including four elevations, six plans, and one rendering. Drawings are signed by Richard Wills, and Robert E. Minot; one drawing is dated.

Drawings depict a two-storyl Colonial Revival-style house with a saltbox garage wing. House has a cedar shingle roof, a clapboard and flushboard exterior. The house has a basement with a playroom and fireplace. The first floor has a living room with fireplace, family room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, eating area, covered porch, lavatory, and two car garage. The second floor has four bedrooms, and two bathrooms.
