Description

Set of twenty-five architectural drawings of house for Walter L. Barker in Nashua, New Hampshire (commission #775) including five elevations, three plans, and seventeen details. Drawings are signed by Merton S. Barrows; most drawings are dated.

Drawings depict a two-story Garrison Colonial Revival-style house with a shingle roof and a clapboard and flush board exterior. House has a living room with fireplace, study with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, pantry, lavatory, covered porch, maid's room and bathroom, three bedrooms (one with fireplace), dressing room, two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. A recreation room with fireplace, lavatory, and future dark room are shown on the basement level.
