Description

Set of seven architectural drawings of house for Earl Firth in Lewistown, Illinois (commission #1186) including two elevations, three plans, and two details. Most drawings are dated; all are signed by Claude Miqulle.

Drawings depict a two-story Cape Cod-style house with a one-story saltbox garage wing, an asbestos shingle roof, and a clapboard and painted brick exterior. House has living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, covered breezeway, deck, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. A playroom with fireplace is on the basement level. Drawings also show potential future expansion with an additional two bedrooms and one bathroom.
