Description

Set of eight architectural drawings of house for Olen Anderson in Wellesley Farms, Massachusetts (commission #895) including three elevations, three plans, and two plot plans. Most drawings are dated; no drawings are signed. Maurice A. Dunlavy was the builder.

Drawings depict a two-story Colonial Revival-style house with a one-story wing, a slate roof, and a whitewashed brick, clapboard, and flush board exterior. House has living room with fireplace, study with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, pantry, lavatory, covered porch, two maid's rooms and one maid's bathroom, three bedrooms, two dressing rooms, and two bathrooms. A game room with fireplace, wine cellar, hobby room, and two-car garage are on the basement level.
