Set of nine architectural drawings of house for Raymond S. Stevens in Melrose, Massachusetts (commission #725-A) including four elevations, four plans, and one sketch. All drawings signed by Amelia Brooks Valtz or Nathaniel Perry Tufts; most drawings are dated. The builder was Chester S. Patten.
Drawings depict a two-story Colonial Revival-style house with a shingle roof and a clapboard, brick, and shingle exterior. House has living room with fireplace, study, dining room, eating nook, kitchen, lavatory, covered porch, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. A recreation room with fireplace is on the basement level.
