Description

Set of seven architectural drawings of a house for J. Stanley Churchill in Cohasset, Massachusetts (commission #520) including four elevations and three plans. No drawings are dated; one drawing is signed "Ashler Stone Architect."

Drawings depict a two-story house with a covered front portico supported by four Ionic columns, a cedar shingle roof, and a flush board and stone exterior. House has living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, pantry, lavatory, study, maid's room and bathroom, three bedrooms, dressing room, two bathrooms, roof deck, and an attached two-car garage. A playroom with fireplace is on the basement level.
