Description

Set of twelve architectural drawings of house for Edward Balch Hubbard in Weston, Massachusetts (commission #469) including four elevations, three plans, two plot plans, one rendering, and two details. Rendering is dated; ten drawings are signed "H A S Jr." One plot plan was prepared by Edwin H. King, Civil Engineer, Melrose, Mass.

Drawings depict a two-story massed rectangular Modern house with a flat roof and a stucco on galvanized ribbed metal lath exterior. House has living room with fireplace, kitchen, eating nook, lavatory, four bedrooms, one bathroom, roof terrace, and an attached one-car garage. A recreation room is on the basement level.
