Description

Set of seven architectural drawings of house for Ralph P. McCarthy in Peabody, Massachusetts (commission #458) including four elevations and three plans. No drawings are signed or dated. Maurice A. Dunlavy was the builder.

Drawings depict a two-story Georgian Revival-style house with a slate hip roof and a brick exterior. House has living room with fireplace, study, dining room, kitchen, pantry, lavatory, covered porch, maid's room and bathroom, four bedrooms (one with fireplace), two bathrooms, and an attached two-car garage. A recreation room with fireplace is on the basement level.
