Set of twenty-four architectural drawings of house for Roger W. Gates in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts (commission #308) including four elevations, three plans, two framing plans, one cross section, one heating plan, and twelve details. Two drawings are dated; one is signed by Royal Barry Wills. Also included is a topographic map made by Gleason Engineering Corporation.
Drawings depict a two-story Colonial Revival-style saltbox house with a wood shingle roof and a clapboard exterior. House has a living room with fireplace, study, dining room, kitchen, breakfast room, covered porch, lavatory, maid's room and bathroom, four bedrooms, and two bathrooms. A recreation room with fireplace and a two-car garage are on the basement level.
