Autograph album of Fannie Fellows, with signatures dated between 1878 and 1881, when she was about 10-12 years old. It contains signatures from a number of individuals, such as her father Enoch Q. Fellows, her brother Willie B. Fellows, her sister Lizzie M. Fellows, her aunt Dorothy S. Flanders (Barker) Fellows, her uncle Christopher C. Fellows, several cousins, and various friends, teachers, and acquaintances. The autographs within the book are not in chronological order. The majority of signatures are signed Center Sandwich, New Hampshire; it also includes the address of "N.C. Merrill" in Clarinda, Ness County, Kansas. Signatures in the album are accompanied by poem excerpts, quotes, riddles, and illustrations.
The front of the autograph album reads "Scroll and Fern Autograph Album" and is copyrighted 1878. The artist and printer/publisher are not identified.

Autograph album of Fannie Fellows, Sandwich, New Hampshire, circa 1878-1884
Sarah Frances "Fannie" Fellows was born in 1868 in Sandwich, New Hampshire, to Enoch Q. Fellows (1825-1897) and his wife Mary Elizabeth (Quimby) Fellows (1827-1887). She had two older siblings, William B. Fellows (1858-1920) and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" Fellows (1861-1893). Fannie made a career as a music teacher. In 1892, she married Dr. Arthur H. Wilde (1865-1944), a professor who taught at Northwestern University and later served as a dean at Boston University. Fannie died in 1936 in Needham, Mass. at the age of 68.
