Fletcher Webster (1813-1862) was Chief Clerk for the US State Department from 1841 to 1843. Fletcher was the son of Daniel Webster (1782-1852) and Grace Fletcher. Fletcher Webster was an attorney, a surveyor of the Port of Boston, and a commander in the 12th Massachusetts Regiment in the Civil War.
