This subseries contains glass plate and acetate or nitrate negatives of individuals and groups fishing for various species of fish, such as bass, lobsters, oysters, and mackerel. The negatives depict fishing and fishers from diverse places in New England, such as Lake Winnpesaukee, New Hampshire, Marblehead, Lynn, and Boston, Massachusetts. Negative 1195 is a nitrate negative and has been removed to box 19, container 000017835.
