One albumen print of the Auchmuty House in Roxbury, Massachusetts. The photographer is unknown. The print is dated to the late 19th century and measures 7 x 10 inches.The house was built circa 1761 and was located at the corner Washington Street and Cliff Street. On the verso of the mount, the following is written: "2. Auchmuty House, built in 1761, owned by Judge Auchmuty / a solid Tory who had to flee the country. Property confiscated. / Wash St, Roxbury opposite Bartlett St. A historic house." In a different hand, the phrase "from Baker, October, 1952" is written along the right side of the verso.
