One albumen print of the Longfellow House in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The photographer is unknown. The print is dated to the late 19th century and measures 7 x 10 inches.The house was built circa 1759. The Longfellow House was home to American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow for 50 years. It also served as the Boston headquarter's for General George Washington during the Revolutionary War. On the verso of the mount, the following is written: "Longfellow House. Washington's Headquarters / Built in 1735 by the Vassal family." In a different hand, the phrase "from Baker, October, 1952" is written along the right side of the verso.
