Description

This subseries includes approximately 100 glass plate and nitrate or acetate negatives of landscapes, scenery, and towns throughout Vermont. Notable scenes include farmland in Arlington, Barnard, and Plymouth. Also included are images of the State capital in Montpieller, granite quarries in Barre, and skinning posts in Hartland. The negatives also depict a variety of natural scenes, such as waterfalls, mountains, and valleys.
