Description

Two photographs of the Bussey Bridge Train wreck on March 14, 1887. The 6am train from Roslindale headed to Boston crashed through the Bussey Bridge, located over South Street in Roslindale. The structure began to collapse and the coach trains tumbled to the ground. About 23 passengers were killed and many injured. Read more details in the folder of articles.
