Description

The image shows a statue of Wendell Phillips in Boston, Massachusetts. The statue depicts Phillips standing with one hand extended and the other resting on a lectern or column. It is placed on a large stone base inscribed with his name, birth and death years, and the phrases "Prophet of Liberty" and "Champion of the Slave."
