This album, presumably by an amateur photographer, documents the interior (hall, parlor, dining room, library, sitting room) of a middle class residence. See pages 6, 13, 15, 16, 20, 34, and 37 for wallpaper. The residence is probably located on Mystic Lake in Arlington, Mass., according to Richard Duffy of the Arlington Historical Society. Some images show individuals on horseback, seated, and/or in groups. The exterior of the residence is also well documented.
