Description

This file includes two folders, which include seven stereoviews, five prints, and one carte de visite of unidentified churches in Boston and one stereoview of the Boston and Lowell Railroad Station. It includes five photostatic reproductions of the Tremont Temple organ, assorted street scenes, and a Boston skyline engraving. It includes photographs of the interior of St. Paul's Church, Old South Church, Trinity Church, the State House, and two unidentified churches. It also includes one carte de visite of Thomas Appleton, who was an organ builder, and one carte de visite of an unidentified man with an advertisement for S. S. Houghton & Co. on the reverse of the card. It also includes one photograph of "The Dutch Girls" or "The Friendly Maids," who broadcast from the Houghton-Dutton studio.
