The materials in this collection are arranged first alphabetically by state and then alphabetically by town within each state. The Boston materials are further divided by neighborhood according to neighborhood designations set by Donald Grey. The majority of the materials are related to New England locations, and those that are from outside New England are arranged at the end of the series following the New England-specific materials.
