Join us for learning and fun all summer long

At Casey Farm

Casey Farm offers special one-day programs that engage your child in fun farm activities highlighting the history and science of farming and farm life. Each program is run by experienced camp counselors in small group settings. Children visit with the farm animals and help feed and care for them as well as pick fresh vegetables for a snack.

Summer Fun Days are offered from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day. The age range and supplies needed vary by program, please check the individual descriptions. The cost is $65 for members (Dual Plus membership or above, membership must be valid through July 31, 2026); $75 for nonmembers. Monday, June 29
Spooky Camp-O-Ween on Casey Farm

Ghosts and Goblins and Chickens! Oh my!  Come on down to Casey Farm for a spooky day of Halloween fun!  Campers come dressed in their Halloween best* for a day full of creepy crafts, haunted hikes, and tasty treats! The day ends with a trick-or-treat around the farm!  Each camper will try their hand at pumpkin bowling and will bring home a mosaic pumpkin craft, silly spider, spooky ghost, and candy, of course! Ages 5 – 12 *Make sure to come dressed for the heat*

Tuesday, June 30
The Magic of Science
The magic of science comes alive at historic Casey Farm!  Campers discover the mysteries of chemistry, magnetism, electricity, optical illusions and more through a variety of hands-on investigations and experiments. The day’s activities will include setting off bottle rockets, making elephant toothpaste, creating battery powered light circuits, playing with magnets, exploring light refraction, and much more!  Ages 6-12

Crazy Cool Hose-Down

Campers explore our pond and cranberry bog, catch frogs, water the garden, and then cool off in a series of wet and wild games. Campers will play on our slip and slide, run under our sprinklers and will take a hay ride through the woods to go swim at Narrow River. After lunch the campers get to play in Casey Farm’s Water Olympics events including the Water Balloon Toss, Sponge Ball, Water Toss, Waiter Wars, and more. Campers must wear a bathing suit under clothes and water shoes or old sneakers and be prepared to get wet. Ages 6 – 12

Thursday, July 2
Celebrate! America’s Birthday at Casey Farm!
One if by land, two if by Ca-sea?  Come celebrate America’s 250th birthday at historic Casey Farm with a day full of colonial fun to commemorate the occasion.  Campers will participate in colonial games, make traditional dipped candles, learn how to card and spin wool, try on colonial clothing and enjoy a visit from a colonial reenactor.   History comes alive at Casey Farm as we celebrate our country’s founding. Ages 6 -12

Program Details

Time: Each program runs from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Ages: 5-12, varies by program. For half-day programs for children ages 4-6, please see Summer Fun Half-Days

Cost: $65 per child for Historic New England members (Dual Plus membership or above, membership must be valid through July 31, 2026); $75 nonmembers

Each program is limited to forty children.

Refund Policy: No cash refunds for Summer Fun Days or Summer Fun Half-Days. Camp credits will be given for cancellations with at least two weeks’ notice.
