The image shows the interior of the Allston Car Repair Shops (Paint Shops) in Brighton, Boston, Massachusetts. The space is large and open with a high ceiling supported by a network of steel beams. Ladders and various wooden structures are distributed throughout the space. Large windows line one side of the building, providing natural light. This building was demolished to make way for the Massachusetts Turnpike.
