Description

The image shows a memorial plaque set in stone in Concord, Massachusetts. The plaque is inscribed with the words "GRAVE OF BRITISH SOLDIERS" and a quote stating, “They came three thousand miles, and died, to keep the past upon its throne. Unheard. Beyond the ocean tide. Their English mother made her moan.” The date “April 19, 1775” is also inscribed on the plaque.
