One mounted photographic print of six children, three boys and three girls. The photograph measures 6 1/2 inches by 9 inches. The children are dressed in elaborate costumes, including wigs, that were typical of formal wear during the American revolutionary era. The location of the photograph is unknown. The verso shows an imprint with the name of a photographer "F. Wheaton Smith, Photographic Artist, Attleboro Mass. No. 4 South Main Street".
The verso shows a list of names; Clarence Holbrook / Edith Claflin / Harold Sweet / Edith Smith Shannon; South Main and Manchester Streets / Arthur Beckett Lamb; 191 So. Main Street / Lottie Smith Rich.
The verso shows the names of each child and the historical figures they are meant to represent:
"[Clarence] Holbrook and Edith Claflin / Thomas Jefferson and wife / Harold Sweet and Edith Smith / Geo Wash and wife / Arthur Lamb and Lottie Smith Rich / Alexander Hamilton and lady".
The verso shows "Washingtonman [?] held at John Cumming's house which was new at the time. February 22, 1888"
