Description

Booklet discussing the Fresh Air Farm near Canton, Massachusetts, which was owned and operated by The Salvation Army of Massachusetts. The Fresh Air Farm was a farm where "children of poverty, sick of heart, sick of mind, sick of body, sick of their city quarters" could experience the "soul-stirring thrill of a lifetime." The farm offers "buldings, playground equipment, food, clothing if necessary, entertainment and care by trained hands and mind" to the children who visited.

The booklet appeals for donations to fund the Fresh Air Farm for the fiscal year of 1921-1922. Black-and-white photographs of children at the farm and its amenities are featured throughout. Booklet was published by the New England Heaquarters of The Salvation Army, based at 8 East Brookline Street, Boston 18, Massachusetts.
