Three cabinet cards of the installation of a Colonial New England kitchen on display at the Wisconsin Historical Society in Madison, Wisconsin. The furnishings used in the installation were from the Stephen Robbins Homestead in Lexington, Massachusetts. They were donated by Ellen A. Stone of Lexington, Massachusetts.
Two of the photographs depict the interior of the kitchen including the hearth, cookware, seating, and other tools commonly found in Colonial New England kitchens. The third photograph depicts the exterior facade of the kitchen. The photographer of the photographs is unknown. The photographs are dated 1904. A clipping is glued to the verso of one of the cabinet cards. Dated February 4, 1904, the article covers the history of the installation, the history of the items on display, and describes the installation.
