Description

Collection of seventy-four color photographs taken by Mary Britcher depicting libraries from various locations in New England. While the majority of the libraries photographed are in New England, a small portion are located in states outside of New England, such as Delaware, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. A number of the photographs have the location written on the back, and the vast majority are have a label with location information placed on the front. The photographs were taken in the late 20th century. The collection provides insight into the architectural styles of libraries, both public and private, across New England.
