The sixteenth design drawing, which depicts a suggested window treatment, was heavily damaged by the portfolio the materials were originally housed in. It is largely covered by a dark brown residue that transfers to other materials it comes in contact with. It has been separated from the rest of the design drawings and placed in a separate folder within the collection box to prevent potential spread of the damage. Hands should be immediately washed after handling this item to prevent transfer of the residue to other items in the collection. The remaining design drawings have been interleaved with acid-free paper.
