Cartes-de-visites of Alice Newbold Codman as a child, depicted alone and with her mother, Sarah Bradlee Codman, c. 1866-1870. Fine inlaid wood album cover has an image of three youths on the shore with a sailboat in the background. On the back cover is inscribed "Nice". The album has a velvet spine.
