Painted pine bust-length milliner's model head; carved from one block of wood; long, flattened oval head with carved eyes, painted black with black painted curly hair, a carved nose, eyes and lip line; flesh paint overall and red at lips; trace of black paint in corset area and a continuously carved platform base.
