Description

Needlework picture of Cornelia Presenting Her Children, the Gracchi, as her Treasures. Worked by Mary Beach (1786-1843). White reverse painted glass, carved gilt frame. Based on a stipple engraving by Francesco Bartolozzi, published in November 1788, after Angelica Kauffman's 1785 original painting.
