Description

Design drawing titled "Dining Chair of French Walnut" rendered in ink on trace. Front view is shown. Sde chair has caned back within straight stiles and bottom rail; serpentine curved crest rail with carved foliage and shells; short stiles below back with carved acanthus leaves; caned seat with molded rim; curved front seat rail with central carved shell; cabriole legs with foliate-carved knees; scrolled peg feet; and double-lyre stretcher. Title and one design note are handwritten on drawing.
