Description

Design drawing titled "Dining Chair of Mahogany" rendered in ink on trace. Perspective view is shown. Neoclassical-style side chair has shield-shaped back with serpentine crest; pierced splat with stylized figure eight flanked by scrolling ribs and a lunette base; curved stiles; seat with serpentine skirt, over-the-rail upholstery, and a single row of metal tacks along lower edge; raked square rear legs; and tapered square front legs. Title is handwritten on page.
