Design drawing titled "Bureau" rendered in pencil on trace. Front view is shown. Empire-style rectangular dresser has overhanging top and projecting front corners; backboard with concave corners and molded top rim; two drawers in one tier that extend beyond three lower recessed drawers; round pulls on all drawers; rectangular panel between two top drawers with fruit basket decoration; key escutcheons on lower three drawers; freestanding ring turnings and tapered columnar stiles with reeding extending from underside of projecting drawers; straight skirt; and tapered cylindrical feet with ring turnings and carved acanthus leaves. Oval mirror with a narrow frame is supported by two large S-shaped scrolled arrms with carved foliage attached to backboard. Title and design notes are handwritten on drawing.
