Description

Design drawing titled "Bureau" rendered in pencil on trace. Front view is shown; plan of top is also provided. Rectangular dresser has overhanging top; shallow backboard with concave corners; four graduated drawers with bail handles and key escutcheons; square stiles with carved twist molding; straight skirt; and tapered feet with cuffs. Rectangular mirror frame has carved bowknot and ribbon swag ornament at top, carved twist molding on perimeter, and carved rosettes at corners. Mirror is attached to dresser by two fluted supports with carved rosettes at top and pineapple finials. Title and design notes are handwritten on drawing.
