Wallpaper fragment from Osterville, Massachusetts. Scenery figure pattern with alternating large and small cartouche figures, draped with pink roses, framed pastoral landscape scenes. Large figure depicts a house and a bridge beside a waterway with mountain in the background. The small figure depicts a church with a steeple in the countryside. Block-printed in grays, greens and pinks on gray ground.
