Description

Flags hang outside the Equitable Life Insurance Building for the 1875 Centennial. A part of the Post Office building can be seen on the right side of the image. Horse-drawn vehicles and spectators can be seen in the foreground. Wright & Potter, printers, are at the corner of Federal Street at 79 Milk Street. Cutter, Tower & Co., stationers, are at 117 Devonshire Street opposite the new Post Office according to the text on the side of the building.
