This subseries includes correspondence dated between 1850 and 1862 and legal papers, including a deed, dated 1843. Jonathan Sayward Barrell II was the son of Jonathan Sayward Barrell and Mary Plummer. He was born in 1797. He married Julia Manent in 1845, and they had one son: George Octavius Barrell. Jonathan died in 1866.
