Description

A=Bodice; B=Skirt. Black silk satin. A=Bodice - squared, drawstring neckline; cap sleeves with beadwork applique of butterfly motif at shoulder. Stomacher panel at center front of black net with same appliqued butterflies (but larger) and spangles; boned; pointed waist (front and back) with black satin piping. Lined with black taffeta; hook and eye center front closure; hooks at back to support skirt. B=Skirt - matching; smooth front with darts; topstitched and smooth from waist through hips along gored seams with pleats below and all around skirt at seams. Slight train; pocket in lining at back; fully lined with taffeta; pleated taffeta dust ruffle; hook and eye closure at center back.
