Description

The image shows the Orpheum Theatre located on Merrimac Street in Newburyport, Massachusetts. It features a sign above the entrance advertising "Moving Pictures" and "Vaudeville" each for 10 cents. Next to the theater, there are other buildings visible, including one with a sign for "Sam Treed Co. Electric." The area has railway tracks running in front. The photograph depicts the theater before it burned on September 9, 1913.
