Description

The image shows six Canadian postage stamps. Five of them feature a portrait of Queen Victoria labeled with various denominations: "TWO CENTS," "THREE CENTS," with some stamps having "2 CENTS" overprinted. The sixth stamp displays a world map with the text "XMAS 1898" and is marked with "2 ¢," alongside the phrase "WE HOLD A VASTER EMPIRE THAN HAS BEEN."
