Handwritten text on the verso reads "Taken near E' 33, looking N.E., Jan 1890, Blue Hill Avenue." A sign for the Oakland Garden Amusement Park is to the right of the building which has the "Refreshments" sign on it. The building on the left has a sign which looks like it reads "Oakland Park."
