Description

An exterior view shows a side façade of the General Hazard Stevens House, also known as Crest Lawn, at 8 Bowdoin Avenue on Mount Bowdoin in Dorchester, Massachusetts. The mansion, made of brick and a wood frame, was designed by architect Edgar Allen Poe Newcomb in the Queen Anne style in 1879-1880. A pathway leads up the hill to a side door.
